twilliams1416 I have a lot of almost brand new show clothing for English. I used to own two horses, and showed every wknd. I’ll need to find them to see what size they are, I know my boots will be too big bc i wear a 9.5(although they were Really tight on me) Are you going to show English? Or just ride English? let me know? Bc there’s much more when you show that you need.

rjoy @twilliams1416 I generally wear about a 7-7.5 in shoes... right now I’m just playing with it, I’ve got an English saddle and trying to learn to post and everything. Riding in an English saddle in jeans hasn’t been working very well lol.

twilliams1416 @rjoy haha yea... it’s a lot different than western. My first horse could use either saddle. I started riding English though, and later on tried out western with him. Big difference. But it’s fun. I’d say my tall boots would fit you bc they literally took hours for me to get on and off no joke. And i have several pairs of breaches which might make it easier for you to ride in. But my suggestion would be to wear the breaches with small riding boots and then put on half chaps.

twilliams1416 @rjoy that’s the best way to ride English, my opinion, unless you need to break in your boots. But until you’re sturdy enough doing what you wanna do, don’t put the tall boots on, bc you legs will sway back n forth bc they’re not very gripping, and if your legs aren’t very very strong to grip on... you look a mess and your horse will not like it lol... I’ve learned from my own mistakes

rjoy @twilliams1416 :) thanks! I really appreciate all the help I can get. I always wanted to learn English growing up but ended up at a college that only had western so that’s what I got to learn lol. Going back and seeing what I can figure out on my own for now... do you have any of the breeches currently listed?

twilliams1416 @rjoy yea my college had an English team i was on. No i don’t. I need to ask my mom where she packed all of my things up and away. I’ll tag you in them, most likely tomorrow afternoon. ❤️

twilliams1416 @rjoy most of my life hunter jumpers. My mare could beat any horse in the hunter classes, when she was behaving, she also threw me off 3x in one show in the mud lol. But other than that she was amazing. My first horse was just bomb proof, i could do anything with him, get on him bareback with nothing and go galloping through trails using his mane and my legs to move him, that’s how in sync we were. Best horse ever.

twilliams1416 @rjoy In college i have to compete in equitation which was totally new to me, i knew everything on how to make a horse look good but not myself. Fun to learn though. You?

rjoy @twilliams1416 oh that’s really cool! Oh nothing officially, was in basic western equitation in College ( only had beginner class or training 2yo, only options) headed towards reining after college but just didn’t really like it

twilliams1416 @rjoy only some show shirts, my breeches are in the basement i have to go down and get them, sorry for the delay i have been working everyyyyy dayyyyyy. I have a dr appt in about 20 min, shouldn’t take long then I’ll find and upload. You looking for just the pants or the tall boots too?
