etherealemo @janicecheshire hey, thanks for letting me know!! I feel like I’m always on eBay looking, is there any specific search you used to find it? I always look at the “lip service” tag but have never found it!

etherealemo @janicecheshire thanks!! ooo i'll have the check that out! I know i joined a lip service fb group one a while ago but it doesnt seem to be very active! I feel like I have the same issue. Every time I see it get posted its always sold within like a few minutes! I once found one on facebook marketplace but i find the sellers on there aren't very nice and never respond to me lol

etherealemo @janicecheshire I literally search random Facebook market place cities to find stuff and message to see if people are willing to ship. Tbh the best cities for stuff are usually in the Midwest lol. That’s how I purchased a rlly popular Tripp coat from the early 2000s! Honestly anything I like by Tripp usually sells within mins, I’ve gotten lucky recently that the random times I’m online something pops up. I’ve been trying to find this long sleeve Tripp corset for months but I never can find it!!

etherealemo @janicecheshire I was obsessed with MCR in middle school when I was an emo kid- low key never grew out of my emo phase ahhh - I was lucky to see them in concert in like 2011 or 2010 I don’t remember! I still have all their cds, live albums, video documentary things, and old merch!!! The Helena dress is my dream piece so my now young adult self can still b that emo kid lol

etherealemo @janicecheshire ahh you are lucky to have a family member who was/is into that stuff!! I was the only one in my family who was into emo/goth stuff growing up! I am lucky my parents were cool with me dyeing my hair every color imaginable, getting piercings, going to concerts etc! Now that I’m older and I am in academia and the corporate workforce I really appreciate the fact that I was able to experiment so much with my appearance when I had the chance!
