there is absolutely nothing wrong with contacting a seller and asking if they have anything else similar. letting someone know that I'm willing to pay at or above fair market value is not wrong either. if you can show where I've asked someone to cancel the order and sell to me it would be much appreciated otherwise maybe you should be concerned with your own actions.
