light26 @coolcap yeah, I visit Latvia once in 2 years, still miss it so much! Especially Old Riga town! ❤ I still have many family and friend there I miss a lot! Do you get to go there for a visit?

coolcap @light26 Yes, my mother and aunt grew up in Riga. They shared some of their beautiful memories. I have not had a chance to visit! I have relatives but the communication is quite non existent. I definitely want to go❣️🇱🇻My father rests there (he went back around 2000 to live out his remaining years, and be with the family he had there). I always think this will be the year!💃....and then something else pops up💥 Let me know ice you see any low airfares ✈️Maybe this will be the year🇱🇻😄

light26 @coolcap yeah, it quite expensive to travel to Latvia, I took couple trips just by my self, bc to travel with whole family is sooo expensive. My grandmother is very sick now, she's got dimensia, and I cant even go there now bc of the travel expenses 😥

coolcap @light26 I'm in Houston Texas...My parents did have a group of Latvian friends that had also been displaced by war, but not a lot of them had kids to carry on wonderful traditions and gatherings. I ❤️ every bit of it and was accustomed to it when we were young💕 There are groups in the northeast and my godparents live in Florida and do take part in something "down there"🌞
