Incredible Vintage 1940’s Women’s ‘Grizzly’ Jacket Black Leather & Mouton Fur

Absolute stunner. I have held onto this jacket for over 12 years now. It’s been extremely hard to let it go, mainly because I’ve never seen another like it. I don’t really dress like this anymore and so I’m finally letting it go. Grizzly jackets are 99.99% of the time made for men. I’ve seen a *couple* women’s grizz from the 70’s but never 40’s. Women’s 1940’s “Grizzly” style jacket. Deep mouton cuffs and dramatic collar. Cropped length. Comes to a bit of a point at the center of the waist, reminiscent of a corset. Red Asian floral print satin lining. One hidden inner pocket in the lining. Hidden hook and eye closures. Black leather body. Some scratches on the leather, shown in photos. I have personally re-sewn the lining at the nape of the neck as it was coming quite loose. I also replaced two broken hook and eyes on the chest. All in all in extremely good condition.
