Indiana Tiara Constellation Round Lidded Glass Footed Candy Bowl

This vintage Tiara Indiana Glass Constellation Yellow candy dish with a lid is in very good condition. Indiana Glass first introduced this as pattern number 300, known as the Constellation pattern, about the year 1935. Indiana Glass reissued and marketed this candy dish again through Tiara Glass from 1973 - 1988. Yellow Mist is one of seven colors released by Tiara Glass. This lidded dish is from the line with splayed feet which makes it unique and much more difficult to find. The constellation (canary) yellow color is a rare and sought-after shade in depression glass; its stars bear a resemblance to an Atomic Star. Although there is a tiny chip on one of the three splayed feet, as circled and shown in the last photo, it does not affect the dish's stability on a flat surface. The dimensions are 6ʺW × 6ʺD × 6ʺH, and it is pre-owned with one or two fleabites.
