@kirstinw77 hi! i also have athletic calves and these fit. there isn’t a gap between my leg and the top of the boot but they fit just right.

@anaghadc hi! i literally worse these for three hours to and from dinner. so yes the bottoms have some wear from walking from the car to the restaurant, which was asphalt. but there are no nails sticking out of the heels! the boots are in amazing condition.
