It is Black Leather with 4 metal snaps that are snapped like for men but no reason a lady could not wear it. The lining in both the pockets and the vest is black polyester. The chest measures 46 inches and the length is 26 inches. The arm sleeve opening is 10.5 inches. The Flag is 15 inches by 9 inches of sewn leather and the 50 stars are sewn on. It is a light weight leather as the total weight is a little over one pound. This is a great item to own.
