To be eligible, service members must have served at least 30 consecutive or 60 cumulative days within the Iraqi borders. The designated Campaigns are as follows: Liberation of Iraq - March 19th, 2003 to May 1st, 2003 Transition of Iraq - May 2nd, 2003 to June 28th, 2004 Iraqi Governance - June 29th, 2004 to December 15th, 2005 National Resolution - December 16th, 2005 to January 9th, 2007 Iraqi Surge - January 10th, 2007 to December 31st, 2008 Iraqi Sovereignty - January 1st, 2009 to August 31st, 2010 New Dawn - September 1st, 2010 - to a date to be determined.
