bettyswhiskey @ballgameus, hi!! Cool closet 😎 My husband & I are going to be part of our local Fire Department soon (I hope... still training). A few of our instructors have gloves like these for non-fire related rescue. At least I think these are them...what do you use these for? Thank you 💛

ballgameus @bettyswhiskey thank you for your message. God speed to you on your journey to become a firefighter. I am a retired firefighter - 20 yrs service. What you’ll find is that actual firefighting gloves are very bulky to do what’s required in a non fire situation. These are great for those very situations

ballgameus @bettyswhiskey no problem. Personally I’ve never liked the actual firefighting gloves. Hard to do much in them and I think unnecessary unless your actually interior attack.

bettyswhiskey @ballgameus I totally agree 100% - they’ve been so difficult to get used to. I remember 1st breaking them in, lol! At least now I can do some things while wearing... 🤷‍♀️

ballgameus @bettyswhiskey I’d hate for you to change your mind but check out the mechanix wear ones in my closet. I only have S in those but they are a little tighter fit and I think a higher quality glove. Plus if your wanting to buy a few pair for you and your husband I’ll shoot you a pretty good deal.
