Is “denim pencil skirt” an oxymoron

Please tell me in which situation would any logical, non-mannequin woman wear this? It did look great on the mannequin, though. With a little thinly striped, cream colored short-sleeved turtleneck. Probably red lipstick and red shoes, too. Maybe a baguette and a beret, ooo la la. Tres chic. Boi oi oing. This is what happens to me at Target. Perfect condition obviously. It’s been sitting in my closet sneering at me.
