@princessagypsy hi. So the widest portion of this boot is right below the knee then tapers as you go down I will remeasure later today to give you an exact number. I indicated 17 to show it’s a little wider up top. However the boot stays up nice and firmly which I love. It never droops. And a couple times I’ve enjoyed wearing knee high socks underneath. I’m 5’3” and 128 lbs and they fit great. You can be heavier in the calf or skinnier and they will work great. Thanks.
