It was too small for our window.

It is a extra strong twist tension rod. It is a 28-48" rod. It doesn't need to be drilled into the wall, you just put it between the window frames and it will stay. It works really well, we have one and we love it. We just got the wrong size for our other window. There's nothing wrong with it. It was put back in the box as soon as we figured out it was too small, so no damage.
