Vintage Italian designer virgin wool, fine lightweight fabric deep blue/almost black coat size 42. US 6. The lightweight coat cuts about thigh level. Both fabric and piece were made in Italy. I have spent a great deal of time trying to find online the exact authentication information for this piece as I must have removed the label. I bought two similar pieces—both very expensive (over $900) around the same time. One was Valentino and the Other was Ungaro. I loved the simple sophistication of the pieces. The company that made the piece, as shown on the label, is called Gruppo Gft. They made only high-end designer pieces. I added a picture of their companies. The label has an RN number that seems to indicate that it is an Ungaro piece. In any case, if you like quiet sophistication, you’ll enjoy this piece. Contents: 92% virgin wool (laine), 7% elastin, 1% nylon.
