This 1946 first edition Bonanza Books (a division of Crown Publishers by arrangement with Vanguard Press) hardcover is in remarkably good condition: clean pages, no stains or tears, firm front and rear boards. The inside two pages have a former owner's name written in ink and a former book store price written in pencil. No other marks or markings. The binding is tight and firm; however, there is a minor separation after the first page that does not affect the rest of the book. The dust jacket is intact but has some small tears and shelf wear along the front edges and spine. Illustrated.
