ksrolfes @altaloma Yes, the ball is already rolling...zoning, signs, parking, racks, hangers, tags, logo, blah, blah, blah. I can't stop now. This is the front where all of the clothing, jewelry, purses, shoes will go & the back is about the same size & furniture & everything else will go. Jerry's in charge of the back 😁😁 & he's requested a TV already!! I've bought a couple of bundles from people on here & they're confused as to how I'd need all different sizes so I thought this might help. Do you?

Tricia @theposhvault is a very reliable and trustworthy posher....never had the pleasure to personally meet her, but just like you, she is a posh friend.....and yes, people can't understand how you can be friends with someone that you never met....I guess friendship is more than meeting face to face 😊. ksrolfes @mccshe I will always remember those that helped in the beginning😘😘. You have a gorgeous closet & your clothing is impeccable, I'll be checking it out again. Yes, it's been very busy so far & all of the little details can be overwhelming at times. My Mom first got me hooked on consignment stores & we talked quite a bit about opening one. The building was hers & a big portion of what I'm starting out with was hers as well, were even naming the store after her. She was short & tiny & all my kids ever called her was Bubba. So it's going to be Bubba's Boutique!!!! I think it will be a name that most won't forget 😁

I'm paying for it now 😥 I realized today, that I'm making some unbelievable deadlines that really don't have to be there. ksrolfes @altaloma I was a complete nut this week. Plastic hangers or clear hangers, maple/gray/black display cases, etc. Etc. Etc..... I've ripped my stomach to shreds stressing. Then I remembered!!!!! Ta-da. I'm doing this for fun!! Yeah. No more stress. I was thinking about calling you last night then looked at the clock & it was 2:30am...not a good time to call I didn't think! I wish we were neighbors too, that would be so much fun. We've had quite a bit of rain but with 30degrees it's not a good combo. I think I'd like to live somewhere where it's like fall year round.

ksrolfes @anna_redbridge I thought maybe we should talk here & not on your friends listing (lol). When I first started thinking about opening the store, I bought every pair of shoes this Posher had under $10. There were boots, 3 pairs of coach heels, Chinese laundry shoes, etc.....at first she thought I was crazy. Then I told her I wasn't going to sell them on posh.....she says, once you pay for them, I don't care what you do with them. Haha. Some people do care or want to Jack the price up on me b/c I'm opening a consignment store. I've encountered a few loons, not on here but other sites :)

The running family joke is that b/c I'm so nice to people, I'll buy from everyone so I don't have to be blunt & hurt their feelings. We shall see how I handle stinky & dirty clothes!!

anna_redbridge @ksrolfes oh no....don't be a push over! That's not good for business. My sister in law, who contributes to the crochet items, always tells me the same thing...I'm too nice and under-pricing, but I want people to love our handmade items and come back for more! I think I'm fair, but every once in a while I get low ball offers even after a discount! It's just simply rude. As far as the gently used items, I'd rather sell them and purge my closet. Some are at a lower price than I have seen in other closets, but on those items I don't mind selling them lower because I'm done with them and at this point it's just about "clearance" . You know what I mean...and I agree with the lady that said that she doesn't care what you do with them after you purchase them. They are yours and if you think you can make a few dollars more, than go for it! I'm all about success stories!! 😘💕👍👍👍

ksrolfes @anna_redbridge That's so funny you should mention low balling. Friday night I got an offer of $85 for my brand new Coach purse which still has tags on it. I was really angry & let her know it....she came back & said, sorry, I thought it was used! Right. Then I got another one on a sweatshirt 1/2 the price I had listed. (with her offer, I'd make $2.05) The thing is, I love to sell my things, but don't have to for $$ so normally I'm priced low. But this weekend was too much.

I'd rather just donate them to an organization or give them away (as I often did before PM) to someone that needs them...I may do just that if I don't sell some of my dresses this spring. Oh, and even if the bag was used, why in the world would make someone think to offer an amount 50% off!! That's just BS in my opinion!! Enjoy the PM experience...LOL!! 😊

mccshe Hi Karen!! I see here that things are coming along rather well!! That is just awesome!! You know I saw a few comments on the name you chose for your shop but I didn't see it, my vision not so good so was difficult for me to read all to find it. I hope you will message me and share that. I have an idea I wanted to share with you. I was wondering if you would be interested in some very nice nursing uniforms. They are gently used but in very excellent condition. I thought about posting here on PM but changed my mind as it is so time consuming to photograph all of them, and they really are not fashion in my opinion. I was thinking of donating them to your store. It will give you more merchandise to fill space and I really believe you will see some interest in them. Please know I will only send items in very good condition. I have a big box and I can pack them up today if you are interested. If anything perhaps you could cover the shipping cost otherwise they are free to you from me! Also they are uniforms that I wore while working and I was very conscientious of my appearance when providing health care to patients. reeaadd @ksrolfes ....ummm.... I have a ton of more stuff I don't even have up in my closet yet... LOL Dresses (size large and up) and activewear and purses...mostly... LOL if you don't want to bundle or buy anything else from me...maybe we can work out a way for me to cosign..with you? It might take a lot more work..like specific sizes/colors/brands that will sell well in the future? Just something to think about .....

ksrolfes @reeaadd I'd love to buy from you again😊 Yes, I will be interested in active wear, etc. I'm not sure what would work best. Maybe listing bundles on here? I'm going to do consigning two ways. Pay out up front (then I'll own the items but you might not make as much) or consign (80/20) For larger/expensive items I'll want to consign . I'm putting out spring/summer items for the opening. Even though it might still be cold in Ohio, people are tired of wearing & buying sweaters 😃

ksrolfes @anna_redbridge Thank you. Sorry, I havent been in touch either. Not 100% sure on opening today 😢 The building inspector found 1 more thing he wanted changed. A stupid lock in the back door, apparently the old one, people might lock themselves in??? It has to be dummy proof!! Then the credit card machine will nit be set up for another day or so. Weve spent so much time & money to make it all right that I dont know if that would make a great first impression.

I think what I love the most is all the items I've bought from you & so many others here on Posh, kinda guarantee no one will have the same exact outfit as we do. I hope all is going well with you. Especially if it's raining here in Ohio 😜 I get horrible migraines & for some crazy reason, shop like crazy when I have one? I don't know if you remember my first purchase from you, but I had bought this white with multi colored animal prints zip jacket. My sister in law bought it & every lady at her work wanted one just like it😳

I remember that jacket, it was the colorful animal print with white background & zip front right? I loved it! I'm happy I could make your sis-in-law the envy of her office, hehe! I feel for you with the migraines😥 I have been getting little zap headaches recently and every time it happens I feel for those that get migraines😥 But Posh is good for many things even helps with migraines😜💃🏻

ksrolfes @sottino Yes, I remember 😊 the keychains went really fast. We are full so I've slowed down on buying but am still accepting consigners. Once the item sells, you'll receive 70% of the selling price. Either we can price or u can set the prices. I pay on the 15th & 30th right now but may just go to once a month since in June I wrote about 200 checks😁 lmk what u had in mind. Talk to u soon

I haven't been on much b/c business has been outstanding☺️ we have over 400 consignors now within the first 8 months & sales keep getting higher, so I'm overwhelmed but very happy. How are you doing?
