Ivory Infant Christening Gown, Vintage, satin and tulle

This gorgeous christening gown was lovingly made by my mother in the early 1960s from her own wedding gown. It does have one flaw, see last photo, where the tulle got caught on my godfather’s belt buckle and tore, then was repaired (on the back of the gown). There is no one else in my family to pass this down to, so I am hoping someone here will fall in love with it and rescue it.
