It has an inner pocket. Some wear on the golden end caps with copper beginning to show through where the strap attaches. Strap is detachable. There is an inner pocket in the main compartment, lined with a nice cotton fabric. just the tiniest mark from a red lipstick on the inside. Some small various marks to the exterior leather. Still a gorgeous purse. Has been stored in and will come with a J. Crew dust protector bag.

joyful_in_hope @espbear Hello! Lovely bag. Just curious..you noted the wear on the end caps…wondering if the strap was removed-would these end caps be removed as well?? (I assume so-but try not to…to be certain of accuracy). CONTINUED…

joyful_in_hope @espbear CONTINUED… I do really like it… So basically, (am trying to picture this), if I used it without the long straps…would the only “defects” be the small amount of lipstick stain inside AND light scratches in a few spots on the outer potion of the purse??? I appreciate your clarifying assistance!! Most Truly, Laura
