I played final-sale chicken, and lost. I have these J. Crew slim wide-leg jeans in a size 30-Regular and they're just a tiny, tiny bit snug so when I saw the size 31-Tall on sale I figured they would be fine. Unfortunately (maybe because they're a Tall instead of Regular), they are just too big and if I was to actually wear them, I would have to either wear a belt (I don't even own a belt) or constantly pull them up. Inseam is 30-inches, but because they are a raw hem, you could easily shorten them if you wanted them to hit at the ankle (which was my plan). First photo is from the J.
