J Hats Vintage 50’s Campaign Hat

Cool Vintage 1950’s styrofoam campaign hat fashioned after the Straw Boater hats popular in the 1920’s with a red ribbon around half that can tie or hang & room around hat for paper label of your choosing. It’s stamped inside “J Hats, Made in USA, Scranton, Penna”. The “Penna abbreviation for PA began as early as 1831 & continued until 1963 when the Post Office adopted 2 letter abbreviations for states. Approx measurements: 12.5” front to back; 11” across & 23” around inside headband. There’s a string attached through holes inside the hat. Good vintage condition, no chips in styrofoam.
