J Jill Deep Pile Butter-Colored Etched "Sheepskin-Similar" Car Coat, size M. I recently discovered (thanks to another Posher asking the same ?) - that this is NOT a sheepskin gamulan (true Argentinean shearling) - but a knockoff, a hybrid made of acrylic and polyester. Truly - I AM amazed, since I have had both real and faux shearling and fur - and this totally tricked me. The cut is sharp, the texture abd feel of the brown inside pile - plus the intricate design on top of (what veels t/b sheepskin) - is impeccable. Chocolate brown pile INSIDE the coat; the texture of the"face" or "shell" (outside) feels like butter-colored sheepskin. Two side pockets, button closures, and a gorgeous paisley-like chocolate brown design on the outside ... which matches perfectly the chocolate pile of the cuffs and collar. Trust me, this is a super warm but stylish coat for the slopes or for putting on a light but very warm layer. 100% curated.
