These pants were never worn. They are high waisted with a flat elastic 1 3/4" waist and that lays against the skin nearly, with belt loops attached should a belt be desired for further adjustment or styling. The pants fit nicely and are warm for fall and winter months. There are two slash pockets in the front and two patch pockets in the back. Flat measurements are as follows: Waist: 24 1/2"; Rise: 17"; Inseam: 31"; Outside length from waist to hem: 43"; Pant opening: 9"
