margiedollahan Hi This is not a faux shearling. I used to work for JLPowell and this is a real “baby Shearling”. They call the skins “links” the curly fur is from a lamb.

margiedollahan @ladyjovt - I don't remember exactly how much it originally sold for, but it was VERY is expensive. It would have been upwards of $2000. Those lamb skins are very expensive. From your photo, it looks like it has been folded up in a bag for a while. It is very wrinkled, but it does look like it is in very good shape and not worn. The wrinkles will press out and it will look great.
