Stunning, Vintage 1950’s Ceramic Vase was Created, Handmade and Handpainted by JAWE POTTERY Potters in West Germany.
This One-Of-A-Kind handpainted Jug Vase will complement the room it is placed in and will undoubtedly complement the overall look of the space.
The vase is handpainted with only a few primary colors; black, pink and white. Pink brush strokes are not overly worked, which makes a softer edge and is able to show the play of Pink color to a greater degree. The Bird Reserve and Tropical Scenery uses different shades, tints and tones of the color Black. Creating a sense of unity and harmony within one place. The vase has one white braided handle, giving it a high contrast that makes it prominent against the other 2 colors. The Kranich, German for Crane has softer edge brush strokes of Brown for its feathers. Two other delicate colorful features are given to the cranes cheek (pink) and its crown which is Amber. Lastly, the Aloe Vera Plant is in bloom with lovely hues of Pink Blooms.
The handle is secure with no repairs, cracks or chips. The braided handle is approx. 1.5” wide and 7.5” in length. This Vintage Vase is in exceptional well preserved condition. Very clean, no crazing.
Approx measurements of the vase are 13.5” Tall and 9.5” Wide.
