ivyellen76 @megnyc1181 Hi there! I'm looking for a purple silk cocktail dress, and this is simple and beautiful! Would you mind commenting on sizing? Do you normally wear an 8 across most brands, or does this fit a little small? Do you know the waist measurement by chance? Also, could I wear a regular strapless bra with this? Last question (promise!) - is it comfortable? I will be wearing for 7-8 hours. Thanks a million! This would be perfect if the sizing works out! :)

megnyc1181 @ivyellen76 hi! I will be home from work soon and can measure the band under the chest as it doesn’t quite hit the waistline really... but to answer your other questions- I am definitely a “standard” size 8 in dresses and pants! The dress fit me perfectly! I was able to wear a regular strapless bra (I’m a 34C) as well with it... and yes it was very comfortable!!! I wore it as a bridesmaids dress in a wedding so I had it on all day and night! 😊 Hope this helps!

clwallace3 I am a 34 D so I need a bigger size in the bust but am a size 4 in pants. Do you think this could work? If so, could you ship tomorrow? I’d need it this weekend.

megnyc1181 @clwallace3 I think it would be ok?? I’m a 34C and there was def room in the bust... and since it just flows under the chest I think it would compensate for the difference?? Just my opinion! Could def ship by tmrw afternoon (I could get to post office by 3:30) if you purchase :)
