It was acquired from "{open} Gallery" in Long Beach, California as part of Joshua Clay's solo exhibition, "Leave The Mystery Behind". "A Passing Moment" was the best painting in the exhibition. It was used on the show card and marketing materials for the show. I have uploaded an image of the showcard. Please see my other listings. I acquired multiple from that show. He was written up in Juxtapoz magazine, hired by alternative pop band Fall Out Boy for art design in their videos. He also worked for a time as a tattoo artist.
