Josh Clay - "When You're Gone", acrylic on wood original painting, 9" x 9" x depth of 3.5", 2006 This painting was acquired in late 2006, approximately 18 years ago. It was acquired from "{open} Gallery" in Long Beach, California as part of Joshua Clay's solo exhibition, "Leave The Mystery Behind". I have uploaded an image of the show card. All three can be displayed as a stunning triptych. The painting is gorgeous. The painting is unframed, but due to its depth, it's probably best to have it displayed on a shelf, a mantle, desk, or table. He was written up in Juxtapoz magazine, hired by alternative pop band Fall Out Boy for art design in their videos. He also worked for a time as a tattoo artist.
