MUST SEE TO APPRECIATE! A CLICHÉ, SURE, BUT APPROPRIATE HERE. IN ALL MY YEARS OF ON-LINE SELLING, THIS IS THE MOST SPECTACULAR GARMENT I HAVE EVER LISTED. IT SPARKLES. IT SHINES. ITS SINUOUS LINES FOLLOW AND ENHANCE YOUR OWN. But this spectacular gown's most beautiful feature, the sparkle and shine of gleaming silver-metallic threading, doesn't show well in pictures and must be seen to be fully appreciated. The brand is Jump Apparel by Wendye Chaitin, size 9/10. It's pre-owned, an estate-sale purchase, but in near-perfect condition, free of defects or damage, with no signs of wear. It's in classic mermaid-gown style, form-fitting and clingy in the torso, hips, and upper legs, flaring below that. It has 2 clasps at the neckline in back, a clasp and zipper in back, and is fully lined in glossy black polyester (picture #9). The outer fabric is acetate and spandex in a 95%/5% blend, very stretchy. Hand wash cold, reshape, and dry flat are recommended. The stated size is 9/10, but prospective buyers are asked … no, BEGGED to compare the measurements with those of a dress that they know fits well prior to purchase. Measurements are: chest, pit to pit 16.5", stretches to about 18"; waist 13.25", stretches to about 15"; hemline 23.75"; length (in back, neckline to hem) 59".
