A very unique fur coat size 36 made in France.... All tassels snap off and on so you can have two different looks. I only know the collar is fox... It's made of Many different furs. Suede cuffs and around the bottom. Definitely an attention getter and conversational piece! Because of its uniqueness I'm not very flexible on the price.

susannebalsamo @randeeq The picture does it no justice! I bought that for myself somewhere around 1989-1990. I was still sporting big hair back then! Lol....Ive never seen another one anything close to it! I believe it was originally around $800. I loved it so much! Now I can't believe I actually wore it in public! 😆

susannebalsamo @randeeq I don't mean to sound ungreatful. Back then I was young and single living home still with Mom and Dad. That was the biggest splurge I ever made for myself in my life. I could never do that now! I wish I could still wear it truthfully! Lol... I have a sentimental attachment to it. That's why I have it priced so high... But maybe there's someone out there who would love it as much as I did and would wear it or make something out of it....

randeeq You don't sound ungrateful at all. You sound like somebody who really loved a piece of her history that's attached to a beautiful jacket. And it's wonderful when were able to still have those memories and set that piece free for somebody else to love! I wish it was in my budget right now because it really is a beautiful piece but I'll be watching it!

bfree319 do you know anything about this designer? I can't seem to find any information about him. I collect his unique jackets that are faux fur or leather. I have one that appears to be his but the label says Jacques Laurent. No saint in the middle part of the name. The label has a address in Paris that is currently Tom Fords store. The materials that the Jacket is made of are identical to those of other jacques saint laurent jackets that I have found over the years.

suebhonee @bfree319 Hello you’re absolutely right. There is hardly any info in him. Only that he designed these coats for just a few years. I’ve also never seen another one like this. I’m wondering if they were one all one of a kind??? I purchased mine back in the late 80’s in a store called Pants Place Plus in the Smithaven Mall in NY. It was about $800. It was one of the only times I splurged on myself like that but it was love at first sight Lol
