If it's 29.5 across lying flat then that's a 59 inch bust which is definitely not a large. If it's 29.5 all the way around, that would fit a child. What am I'm missing, please help me! lol

poshmeg_nyc It fits like US 6/8. Usually James Perse sizing runs bigger, but the cotton material on the bust and skirt is a woven fabric. The waist band is soft cotton knit and stretchy.
