Jan Garber 1947 Broadcasts Cassette Wave-Band Music Big Band Swing Jazz

For sale is a Tanscription Cassette of a 1947 High Fidelity Radio Broadcast of Swing-Jazz & Big Band leader Jan Garber & His Orchestra released some time in the 1980s on the Wave-Band Music label. During his time, Jan Garber was known as "The Idol Of The Airlanes" for his constant presence on the radio. In the late 1940s, he was arguably at the peak of his career with his own 15-minute 5-days-a-week broadcasted radio show. To my knowledge, this particular broadcast has not been released on any other physical format and is ONLY available on this cassette. With that being said, this release is VERY HARD TO FIND and is a nice rarity for the swing and big band collector. The cassette has been TESTED and PLAYS GREAT with no issues. (See pictures and description below for track listing and condition details): CONDITION/GRADING: Cassette: In super clean NEAR MINT condition with intact felt pad. J-Card: In NEAR MINT condition with some tiny spots along the edges where the ink was smeared when it was printed. Case: Is Not Graded, but in o.k. condition with a crack and noticeable chip along the bottom right edge. It still adequately protects the contents and can be easily replaced, if desired.
