Lovely Victorian-style hand painted porcelain hair receiver. A hair receiver is a small, lidded dish with a hole in the lid, kept on the dressing table in the Victorian era to store hair removed from brushes and combs. This hair was used in several ways. Lovely item to add to any décor.
In very good condition with no chips or cracks. Note, there are a few paint imperfections and rough spots common in hand painted items; this does not take away from the beauty of this item.
