Black crepe silk outside,with gorgeous hand painting. Not museum quality, but close to it. I only displayed it in my Asian inspired L. R. for a time. Packed with tissue since. Full length. Married lady's kimono. Very heavy. Very long. Lining is pure delicate red silk. Entire garment is hand-stitched. You will see doubling of fabric at hem and sleeve area. Very fair price. Antique collection. Packed in tissue. I do not have kimono rod to show full length. Measurements on request, but only if genuinely interested would I unpack. Increased price as it becomes more rare. Not a garment to wear daily. This is collectible item. Entire garment is silk and handstitched.

marciahouston51 @carissky Hi again... Sleeves: 50" from tip of left sleeve to tip of right sleeve. (tip meaning end) Length: 56" from very top of "collar" to end of hem. Length: 52" from shoulder to hem. (where bamboo rod would be). FYI : because this is all organic silk, some smooth, some crepe, it is kept folded in tissue and not hanging, the measurements could be off a half inch or so. It will look stunning displayed, as it's very elegant. I would want to insure it. Cheers!! Marcia🙇‍♀️

marciahouston51 @cloliver12 In looking, I have this kimono packed in tissue. Are you able to see all the dimensions listed for another person? I am very reluctant to unpack and hang this antique without a kimono rod., which is why it was pictured as such. Let me know if you are able to see the dimensions listed above your request. marciahouston51 @disneygurl2u My pleasure. There are many variables when it comes to Japanese kimonos. Wearing by correct person, correct color for certain functions etc. Geisha and apprentice are different all together. Takes a bit of study. So glad you enjoyed it. I do not have a display rod so it is hard to see it it full length and it's not good to remove from packing tissue. Measurements were listed for interested buyer. Thanks again!!
