Japanese Lamp-work Bead and French Sequin Necklace & Earrings Set

Rare and stunning circa 1930s necklace and earrings set. Thousands of antique gold French sequins, gold ruffled sequins, and canary yellow Japanese lamp-work beads, each unique by their manner of creation. The sequins undulate with movement revealing their iridescence. The sequins on the earrings are very slightly darker and flatter than those of the necklace, and the lamp-work beads are more transparent. The findings are gold-plated or gold. Unmarked, likely made in Japan. Necklace: 25 inches clasp to clasp. Sequins 6mm diameter. Glass beads 8mm. C-clasp. Strung on cotton thread - we'd recommend a restringing.
