A Japanese Obi can be used as an art piece that’s hung on the wall draped over furniture. Some Obis are up cycled to create artwork and other unique pieces. The Obi that’s listed is a silver threaded Obi with dark purple/Navy accent- the back side is a dark Navy purplish color. There is a small blemish shown in photo. This Obi was purchased in Tokyo Japan in an antique shop. It has been well kept and has a true Japanese antique smell from being stored in a Japanese wooden dresser. It’s hard to describe the smell but it’s not bad at all. Comes from a smoke free pet free home.
