Fractured femur into 40 pieces, broken right arm with 2 plates, broken right leg with rods and pins, broken left leg with shattered femur, 4 broken ribs, hematoma on kidney, blood clots, fractured skull, fractured neck discs, small hole in left lung, 2 surgeries down, hopefully only one more to go! Superman will fly again with the help of God who saved him from a head on collision with an uninsured drunk driver. Life flighted to level 1 trauma center where he was taken care of by the best orthopedic team, trauma team, & spine specialist in the world!! So thankful for all the prayers and blessings bestowed upon us!! It will be a long journey!! But one we are thankful to have the chance to travel down together. Alive and praising His name daily🙏🙏 True miracles happen every day & it doesn’t take a traumatic event to prove this! Count your blessings & kiss your loved ones. I spent far too long taking life for granted. After seeing my husband hang upside down in my Honda element for over an hour before they could extract him, all I could do was pray. I didn’t bargain with God or make promises, I spoke to Him with love….asking for compassion & mercy. He provided it AND SO MUCH MORE!!! We will be paying on medical bills for the rest of our lives, I’m sure. But I didn’t have to pay for a funeral, so who could ask for more??
