@obsherry51 Hi. I am usually a 12 also, however, I bought size up to wear sweaters underneath. It is made to be fitted.

@shoeaddict911 from the armpit to armpit I measured 17in across. I am a DD and this did fit well around my bust but I went a size up for that.
