Rare Jean Paul Gaultier Maille "Purple" Top. Made in Italy in the early 90s by the talented designer to pay tribute to the great Marlene Dietrich. It has his Signature back tab, the seams are over-locked w/black mohair yarn. The Purple w/Navy fabric is a stretchy shear mesh. I cut the label out when I bought it as I don't like tags on see-through tops. This is one of Gaultiers most Collectable/Iconic prints of all time.. especially in Purple. Worn only several times, it's in perfect condition.

I mention in the description that I cut the label out as I don't like to see labels through thin clothing. This top in purple is especially rare. volluk125 @scarlettestyle it is from 2001 because that the year all Marlene Dietrich and jpg clothing line released. They might be listed for whatever price but you should look at sold prices not at listed to understand the real value. I have just sold my regular jpg Marlene Dietrich mesh top for 430. With all the respect, I could do 320 for yours.

volluk125 @scarlettestyle considering the fact that I’d doesnt have tags it will be hard to authenticate it. It could be a regular fuzzi mesh top which is worth couple times less than jpg but has the same print.

I just got around to finally putting some of my Designer Vintage on-line, I know it's real, I paid a lot...and it's a rare color. If you look at my closet you'll see I've always bought expensive designer clothing. As I said it's all mine personal clothing I didn't by for resale. I'll check to see if I kept the label. julian_nycc I’ll buy it rn for $300 since their is no tag (value is much much less) this shirt is marketed for $600-750 but since the tag is missing $300 is the best you can get, and it’s stained

scarlettestyle Hi... yes. It's been dry cleaned and still in the plastic. Top Shoulder Front sleeve seam to seam~17" Underarm Front seam to seam ~16" Very bottom Front ~13" Sleeve Length from underarm to cuff ~21" This top is very stretchy. Let me know if you'd like any other measurements.
