The "Crackle" design dates to the 1920s and was produced through the 1960s. This particular piece was made circa the 1940s to 1950s. It has a beautiful orange color to it, known as marigold. Originally this had a lid and was used as a candy dish. However, one wouldn't be able to tell this from just looking at it unless they knew the piece so it could be used as a beautiful, extravagant goblet. I could see this as a main staple piece in a china cabinet.
