In not exactly sure if they would fit a 6/8 I think they probably would but here are some pictures of size charts. I know sizes vary by brand but hopefully this may help a bit.
I also included measurments on the listing maybe it may help measuring some jeans you already own and comparing it to these measurments. :)
Please note that everyone measures a bit differently so these measurments are approximate just to get a rough idea.
