It is a true “mustard” yellow color. I did notice a few threads that looked loose but contacted JK and they said these are not considered defects. I understand your concerns, and I want to assure you that the open weave of this garment can sometimes lead to loose threads, but this is not considered a defect. This can also be repaired by gently tugging in four directions around the snag to get the loose thread to lay flat. Additionally, when storing your sweater, please avoid using a clothing hanger; instead we recommend folding the garment down. I found this response to be correct as far as the sweater fix .
