A rare vintage 19K green gold, free spirited, Peace necklace by the always on trend jeweler, Jill Platner. Peace, a three quarters century old symbol that's called to be of service time and time again, as turmoil tests the resolve of the peoples of the world. The symbol that constantly reinvents itself and reincarnates artistically, from the simplest to the most grandiose expression. One thing that remains constant--its succinct message to "stop... and think". No longer in production, the jewelers at Jill Platner is on point with the proportion of this design, small enough to catch curious eyes, and still be a charm(ing) sized necklace, a distinction from the more prominent pendant category. This understated but not insignificant piece measures approximately 17" end to end, the gold peace symbol 1/2", toggle just shy of 1". The original cord is a comfortable and apropos size single strand. The folks at Jill Platner can replace it with the popular braided cord should you prefer. Excellent condition.
