cocoviolette Is the hood tweed fabric as well? I know these were made with tweed hoods and velvet hoods. I have one in a different color. I love it because it fits over everything - like heavy sweaters and blazers.

cocoviolette If it is too large for you can you share your size with me so I can compare? I am 5'4" tall, weigh 112 and am pretty small! So I might have the same problem. I know they were made in several sizes so if this is the L one it could well overwhelm me as well. My green one is a S?P according to the tag. It is still quite ample. I prefer it to a coat as I can wear it over suit jackets and sweaters and it is not too bulky in the sleeves & shoulders. Coats tend to feel too thick over winter clothes.

buissonnasus @cocoviolette hi thank you for your interest. I agree iwoth love of capes and have so many- 12 is just a ballpark! Ok , same weight but have shrunken from 5'4" to 5'1" (or MD says 5') as I have aged (TMI) so now feels long and heavy for me so I have never worn it. Only wear vintage JH, Boru and Avoca. Huge theft problems here so can not stop and constantly adding more capes as they disappear - even 5 at a time! Also have a great, short purple one I could list as I can not wear it in UK cold!
