Graphic(key word) novel by surrealist story teller Alejandro Jodorowsky with art by the great Mœbius. Book is in good shape with little to no shelfware. Mining Jodorowsky's fascination with religion, mysticism and philosophy, the story follows Alan Mangel, a sixty-year-old professor of philosophy at La Sorbonne and his cult like students. Mangel embarks on a spiritually and sexually-charged journey through farcical adventures with one student, Elizabeth, a fellow believer named Muhammad, and the spectacularly-endowed and seemingly insane daughter of a Columbian drug lord, whom Elizabeth and Muhammad believe to be the earthly incarnation of Mary, who comes to believe herself to be Jesusa, the androgynous Christ. If you're not familiar with this work, research the series before picking this up for a kid.
