"Jolly Joker" sugar skull artwork

I love the Mexican holiday, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) the day of the year when the veil between the physical world & spiritual world is the thinnest. Calaveras (sugar skulls) are skulls made of cane sugar, used as gifts for the dead & also given as gifts among the living as little holiday treats. I enjoy the ornate designs of flowers, spiderwebs, & jewels that epitomize sugar skull artwork and have been coloring these as I prepare to become a sugar skull facepainter to work Dia de los Muertos festivals throughout the country. I am selling my colored works, which I named according to the personality or vibe once I've completed each piece. I call this one "Jolly Joker" because it looks a little like a clown and has a very jovial expression. - frame is 8.5" x 11" with a glass pane - hole in the back for hanging - these are originals, not prints - priced by how many hours it took me - price covers the art materials, picture frame, shipping box, selling fee, & my time :-)
