Josef Henke Weasley studios China wild flowers Vase. Approximately 4.5 inch tall and 5” across at widest. Platform vase is 2 inch with fluted top edges. Has gold accent at base and top trim with normal fade from years of use. Josef sleigh henke was popular artist who ran a company in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He lived 1875 to 1965. He hand painted the fine China. Did lots of pansies, roses, forget me nots, and wild flowers. Started painting at 14. This vase has some areas that are not 100% smooth, not dented but looks handmade on back area of the vase. Last pics show. But this is a stunning piece to be admired. Has age discoloration on inside of vase because it was used. Needs to be loved and used again. I find this a beautiful piece of art. His work inspiring. Happy! Vintage. Handmade. American artist.
