The brown areas shown in the pictures are not that color in person, but is where the light was hitting it, and my hands were sitting to take the pictures, and I guess it activated the thermal nature of the lining and the warmer areas showed up darker in the pictures. It did not look that way to the naked eye. This is a very nice and warm jacket, purchased at Dillards. 98% cotton, 2% spandex, gives it a little stretch. It has 2 front zip pockets. It is fully lined. Warm and fashionable.
