Great dress for prom or a pageant! Originally a size 8, but has been altered to fit 0-00. Jovani style 28900 in fuchsia. Worn once in a pageant. Dress features a strapless neckline with a deep plunging v and mesh insert, and a fitted mikado skirt with princess seams. The mikado godets on the skirt with horsehair trim add great dimension to the skirt creating a fit and flare look. The mid coverage back has an invisible zipper that provides great support. I wore 8" heels and am 5'5"

chxaxrxmxexr i’m slightly shorter than you and only plan to wear a 4 inch heel. could it be altered and remain the integrity of the fit and flare style?

missmarypete @chxaxrxmxexr I would think so if the seamstress moved the trim up, but I would ask your seamstress first. It was originally a size 8 and altered to a 0-00, but the length was not touched at all. Let me know if you need any more information or photos.
