Here is a stand-out tie, made of 100% silk with a label that reads Justin David Tradition Distinction, in EUC. The colors appear to be cream, burgundy & black, but could also be cream, eggplant & dark navy (the tipping is purple so I would lean toward eggplant). The pattern contains crests/shields, buckles, rope and what looks like a foxtail chain design (to me). See ***s below & accompanying photo for any flaws.
Photos 4-5 show all tags
Photos 6-7 show measurements, 4" at widest point & 55" total length (27.5" x 2) - the label in photo 5 describes it as "LONG"
***Photo 13 shows the 1 flaw found, which is a very small hole in the tipping
Photos 14-15 show additional info on the label and my *best guess* on dating the tie. The RN# 62830 belongs to Lands' End. The only company with the name Justin David that made apparel is shown in the last photo, and was in business between 1989-1996. I don't know for certain if they were the owners of this label, but it's the closest I could find as there were no trademarks registered for neckties with this label by either Justin David or Lands' End. The tie width and pattern are in keeping with the description of ties from the 1990s (see any tie history websites or blogs to confirm this). There is another label in the women's category "Justin David New York" but the labels are quite different, so I don't believe they're related.
