KATE DISMOUNTS Vintage Native American Lakota Sioux South Dakota 10" Pot Vase This 10" beautiful Native American pottery vase is a unique piece that showcases the talents of Kate Dismounts of the Lakota Sioux tribe in South Dakota. It is in good condition, meaning that it is pre-owned/pre-loved, with some flaws, as noted below. With regards to Kate Dismounts, she was also known as Katherine Dismounts and born Katherine Chasing Horse in 1931. She passed away in 1986 and was married to Seth Dismounts in 1953. NOTE: there is a hairline crack, as seen in the photos, on one side, and on the inside. The exterior is a matte surface and the interior has a glaze/sheen to it.
